1. Managing Aftermarket Projects
- Handle retrofit and modernization projects.
- Coordinate product upgrades, breaker replacements, protection relay upgrades, etc.
- Ensure delivery of spare parts and engineering modifications.
- Manage project schedules, costs, and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, class rules, statutory requirements and internal standards
2. Technical Engineering Support
- Review existing installations and documentation.
- Define technical solutions for upgrades or modifications.
- Verify compatibility between old and new equipment.
- Create technical procedures and clarifications for customers and service teams.
- Produce necessary deliverables and documentation needed for production.
- Prepare, review and follow up technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, calculations and test documentation
3. Customer Interface
- Act as the primary technical contact during project execution.
- Participate in customer meetings.
- Handle technical queries and resolve delivery issues.
- Support quotation and sales teams with technical input.
4. Coordination
Work closely with:
- Service Engineers
- Project Managers
- Product Managers
- Design Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Procurement
- Field Service Teams
- Customers and shipyards
Uvjeti
1. Technical
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or technical education, within electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical power distribution systems, such as LV/MV switchboards, drives, energy storage, rotating machinery and related marine electrical systems.
- Experience with the electrical design engineering tools (ACAD, EPLAN), protection philosophy and system interfaces.
- Knowledge about the automation and control system side, not just the electrical power distribution equipment is expected.
- Experience from project execution, delivery engineering or technical lead roles is beneficial.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of marine regulations and class requirements for electrical installations is a plus
- Practical commissioning and testing experience (IAT / FAT / SAT) is a plus.
- Software skill (in particular B&R software) - not necessarily a software development, but ability to navigate the software environments, understand controller logic/PLC programs, upload/download software backups, assist with troubleshooting, read function blocks and signal logic, support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and service activities, and communicate effectively with automation engineers - is a plus.
- Experience with Naval Program for maintenance and lifecycle support of naval vessels is a plus
